When I retired as Managing Editor, Jennifer Lang became editor of the Cloverdale Reporter. From that day – until the day she died – we enjoyed a friendship which went beyond just being Black Press colleagues. 

I will always miss our editorial lunches, frantic phone calls, hilarious emails and shared passion for the newspaper business.
