Debbie wrote four chapters (Banff, Jasper, Waterton/Glacier, and Mount Ranier)  in the first edition of Fodor's The Complete Guide to the National Parks of the West, which was released in 2010 and won several awards including the Lowell Thomas Bronze Medal for best Travel Guidebook. She has updated her original work on other editions and has contributed to twelve Fodor's guidebooks in all. The latest update for National Parks of the West will be released in spring 2021.
