Exploring Coastal Scotland One Step at a Time!

The Fife Coastal Path opened in 2003 as Scotland’s longest continuous seaside path. The full trail is 187 kilometres, but our itinerary from Kirkcaldy to Crail allows us a brief introduction, covering 60 kilometres of some of the most scenic coastal sections of the route. This stretch is characterized by its pretty seaside villages, beaches, sea stacks, rugged coastal cliffs, history, and charming old harbours. It is also a perfect location for spotting wildlife in its estuaries and reserves; grey seals and bottlenose dolphins, eider duck and sea eagles.
