Birding Canada, Coast to Coast

Of all the countries in the world, Canada possesses
the longest coastline. Including the mainland
coast and the coasts of offshore islands, Canada’s
coastline stretches 151,019 miles (243,042 km)
along three oceans: the Atlantic, the Arctic, and the
Pacific. With so much coastline, you can probably
imagine the birding opportunities that exist. I’ve been
lucky enough to experience birding excursions on two
of the three coasts: east (Atlantic) and west (Pacific).
