Minutes of the Travel Media Association of Canada National Board meeting, conducted by video conference call

Meeting called to order by TF at 10:02 a.m.

DR and MM reported on the HR committee's interview with the Executive Director, which was “cordial and professional”.

DR reported that the HR committee has been meeting regularly, gathering information on management models, and preparing a survey for board members. The committee has identified typical administration costs for similar organizations, and determining the need and timing for an RFP.

The HR committee reported that this may be an opportunity for TMAC to create a management model that meets our specific needs.

The committee believes that the administration costs need to be more proportional to the organization's annual revenue. The work of the committee continues.

JS: Suggested that we create a holiday greeting video from the board to be sent to all members. Board members agreed to provide JS with a themed photo.
