In 2021, the world-class Inuit Art Centre opens at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, featuring the world’s largest collection (over 13,000 pieces) of Inuit Art. Construction on the $110 million Gardens at The Leaf at Assiniboine Park is well underway. This major horitcultural attraction features Canada’s largest indoor waterfall set to open in late 2022, with the Outdoor Gardens opening last summer. The Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada is home to one of the largest and most historically significant aviation collections in Canada. Founded in 1974, the museum is dedicated to showcasing Canada’s remarkable aviation history. In 2022, the musuem re-opened its doors in a new, purpose-built, state-of-the-art building prominently located on the main terminal loop at the Winnipeg James A. Richardson International Airport.
