TURNER is employed as the Bermuda Tourism Authority’s agency of record for North America. We are responsible for creating and implementing results-oriented public relations and social media strategies for the island. Scope of work includes managing PR and social media programs that include media relations, FAM and press trip coordination, partnership and collaboration development, influencer outreach, community relations, crisis and issue management, online press rooms, strategic planning for digital communications, social network maintenance and operation and creation of content. Results delivered for 2015 include over 200 articles spanning print, online and broadcast. These generated 1,169,441,197 impressions and almost $25.5 million ad value equivalency. 72 media were hosted, including 49 editors and journalists on group trips and 23 on individual trips. Along with coverage highlights including sizable features in The Wall Street Journal, DuJour, Boston Globe Magazine (cover issue), New York Magazine, Triathlete, and Islands magazine. Bermuda was recognized with numerous awards including Outside’s “Best of Travel: Best Island”, National Geographic Traveler’s “Best Summer Trips of 2015,” and “Best of the World”, Travel + Leisure’s “World’s Best Awards: Resorts” and Robb Report’s “Top 21 Destinations for 2016”.
