Camp Fimfo, an award-winning camping experience that made its debut last summer in New Braunfels, Texas, will open a second location on July 1, 2022, in nearby Waco. Named among the Top 5 Campgrounds for Families and the Top 5 Campgrounds for Design by Campspot, Camp Fimfo conjures memories of summer camp and family road trips of yesteryear but with all the conveniences travelers expect today. Both locations feature about 200 Red Carpet RV spots with full hook-ups, cement pads and patios, and more. A collection of cozy cabins offers a glamping experience with multiple bedrooms, kitchens, a full bathroom and outdoor luxuries, including fire rings and charcoal grills. Campers who want a more-traditional experience can pitch tents at Camp Fimfo’s primitive sites. The amenity-rich destinations include restaurants, lounges, waterparks and plenty of activities for children and adults.
